Within our localized COVID-19 response framework, we know the last few weeks have been a massive adjustment for everyone and how hard each of us have been working to re-acclimate balancing work from home, family, checking in with friends and remote family, and practices to keep healthy. Taken together with such a rapid shift into distance education, the ELC has decided to augment our typical conference agenda to focus on strategies and conversations to help each of us through this transition. We will depart from our from our normal two-day event to a shorter event over two afternoons (Thursday 4/9 and Friday 4/10) with brief sessions and frequent breaks.

We are holding three separate teaching techniques sessions each focused on different aspects of the shift into online teaching. The first session (Thursday) will center on online instruction fundamentals, while the second and third sessions (Friday) focus on online labs and assessment, respectively. All zoom sessions will be recorded and shared after the meeting.

The finalized agenda can be found below, and zoom links to attend the meeting are available by signing up or logging into this site.
